Secret Eats – Kopi C – Kuching, Borneo

If you’ve spent a long day sightseeing around Kuching or if you’re a travelling couple like us and are long overdue a date day and a bit of a treat then Kopi C is the place for you in Kuching. You can kick back and relax in a quirky setting, oh…and the cake here is awesome!

The selection of cakes is absolutely huge and as soon as you walk through the door it gets your mouth watering and your tummy rumbling. They are the biggest slices you have ever seen and whilst you do pay the price at around RM14 a slice, its well worth it! After much careful deliberation we chose the carrot cake and tiramisu to share. Wow. They were delicious, creamy, soft, sweet…just so good! I think it’s the first time we have ever left some food on the plate so that tells you that there is a lot!

It’s a very relaxed cafe playing chilled jazz and blues music, comfy chairs and sofa’s and a real community feel with children’s artwork lining the walls. Set in the old courthouse buildings its also a very picturesque setting with a pretty courtyard just out front.

Its not one to miss, so grab your partner (or just your really great travel friend!) and take them for this sweet treat!

Enjoy!
